Filipine X

- a soap dish designed by Aula and produced and developed with Norwegian Trash.

Each year Norwegians throw out 540 000 tons of plastic. More than 80% ends up in incinerators or the landfill. Why does this happen, when each kilo of recycled plastic saves us from using two litres of fossil oil? By making Filipine X, we want to start a conversation on how design can accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable and circular future.

Each dish is pressed manually, one by one, at Norwegian Trash in Oslo. The dish is made of 100% local plastic waste. Filipine X is washable and fully recyclable. Each piece will be unique with its various colour marbling.
