Laude is Latin and means to praise. Laude is an object that elevates and enhances the fruits placed on it, in the same way that we should elevate, enhance and appreciate the resources we utilise and depend on

The construction of the fruit stand consists of two arches with different radius. The geometrical idiom contrasts the traditional method of construction. By gluing oak veneer in layers until achieving the desired thickness, a strength and stability is obtained in the two arches.

The design idiom emphasises the sculptural aspect, and in that sense Laude will function both as a fruit stand as well as a sculpture.
