Bread basket

Crafted by hand and rooted in tradition, Aula’s Bread basket series explores how everyday objects can carry meaning, care and presence. The baskets aim to elevate the everyday through form, tactility and use.

The baskets are handwoven in Norway from natural materials, with slight variations that reflects the maker’s hand and the rhythm of the process.

Becoming a quiet architect of light, the basket let shadows unfold across the surface, subtle, temporal traces of form and intention. More than an object, the basket captures a moment and the gentle ritual of a shared meal or a quiet lunch alone. It gestures toward presence in the everyday, a reminder of the beauty in slowing down.
